The position offers a wonderful ongoing opportunity to learn and grow through practice under the mentorship of the Practice Manager.
Work focus:
Ensure the efficient running of daily administrative activities within the practice.
Being a liaison between the patients and the doctors of the practice.
Job Duties: (not limited to)
Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner.
Scheduling appointments and management of the electronic agenda.
Telephone Etiquette: Answering the Phone in a Professional Manner
identifying the name of the company, your name and the location of the practice.
Clear and effective communication between patients and staff and with medical aids and providers.
Data capture, all the information to be captured 100% correctly.
Initial weekly goal to achieve.
Sending and receiving correspondence.
Answer queries and solve problems.
Represent the practice in a professional capacity at all levels, including
administration, marketing, behavior, social networks, telephone etiquette and
dress code.
Stock order.
Knowledge of the Medical Assistance Authorization process.
Taking inventory.
Handling cash payments and card payments.
Qualifications and requirements:
Minimum requirement: National Senior Certificate. A diploma in administrative management from an accredited tertiary institution will be beneficial.
3+ years experience in similar position.
Previous medical billing experience would be an advantage, but
not required.

Excellent practical problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (being able to listen and express oneself clearly and concisely) The candidate must be fluent in more than one local language.
