Job Description:

Coastal and Environmental Services (CES) seeks an experienced Environmental Assessment Practitioner with particular experience in the mining sector, and experience in undertaking ESIAs aligned with the International Finance Corporations Performance Standards. A relevant Master’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience, or an Honours degree with at least 5 years’ experience is required. This formal qualification must be a relevant environmental degree that focuses on environmental impact assessments and environmental management.

The primary function will be to manage and execute the various renewable energy related environmental projects CES has in the South African and International sector. Experience in Basic Assessments, the South African EIA process, and writing Environmental Management Plans is essential. Further experience assisting clients during the final design phases of projects, and working on international ESIA’s studies would be a distinct advantage.

Qualifications, experience and requirements:

A relevant Master’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience, or an Honours degree with at least 5 years’ experience is required.
