Our client in Johannesburg an Engineering company is urgently searching for a hard-working Steam Boiler Maintenance Technician to be based on their various sites to join their team.
Skills and qualifications required:
N5 in Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering qualification
At least eight (8) years of practical training and experience in steam boiler maintenance
Duties and responsibilities:
Steam boiler repairs, maintenance and commissioning;
High pressure cleaning and sandblasting of boiler components;
Statutory boiler maintenance services;
Maintenance of boiler feed water treatment plant;
Feed water pumps repairs and maintenance;
Boiler control panel repairs and refurbishment;
Boiler valves repairs and maintenance; and
Heat insulation and cladding of boilers.
