PROCUREMENT & STORES SUPERVISOR
R 18 -R25 k monthly
GENERAL:
The Procurement & Stores Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Procurement Manager procure for all departments within the company as well as all day-to-day operations in the Stores Department (Spares, Secondhand Spares, Tarpaulins, Gas, Oil and Tyres Stores and Fuel depot). The focus is assisting on defining, implementing, improving and maintaining state of the art procurement and stock management systems.
The Procurement Supervisor reports to the Workshop Admin Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The scope of responsibilities of the Procurement & Stores Supervisor covers all areas within the company dealing with the procurement of all stock requirements for all departments, overseeing all stock storage, handling and issuing, implementing management procedures to ensure that the flow of operations is not interrupted.
HARD SKILLS-BACKGROUND / TECHNICAL COMPETENCE:
Academic Background: bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
Experience required (minimum/maximum): 2-5 years, Transport and/or Logistics industry.
Good understanding of the Procurement procedures.
IT knowledge: excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (excel; word; power point)
Age (minimum / maximum): 25-30. ( I think we may be able to go a bit above this age as this is very young )
Others: English – full command of the Portuguese and English language, both written and spoken.
LI: Minimum of 15.
WORKING HOURS:
Monday – Friday 08:00 to 17:00
