Main purpose of the job
The incumbents will support MatCH’s Mobile Clinic teams, including transportation of
the team goods and equipment, assisting with the facilitation of services within the
mobile teams, and other adhoc responsibilities.

Key performance areas :

  • Transport staff members as required, for project activities.
  • Transport goods as required.
  • Conduct administrative driving duties.
  • Assist with stock distribution.
  • Transport external stakeholders as required.
  • Support mobilization of patients for HIV testing and counselling/HIV self￾screening & TB screening at community locations.
  • Conduct necessary patient registration and completion of registers/data
    collection forms.
  • Assist with the inspection and upkeep of vehicles.
  • Play an active role in the adequate maintenance of vehicles.
  • Ensure vehicles are licensed.
  • Ensure equipment on board is operational.
  • Complete all documentation as required.
  • Manage fuel cards .
  • Assist Operations Coordinator with management of vehicles.
  • Conduct additional special projects or tasks as and when required.
  • Perform other duties aligned to the role as assigned.

Required minimum education and training :
o Grade 12 /Matric
o Valid Code 10 license older than 5 years and PDP- Unendorsed

Minimum work experience :
o 2 years relevant work experience
Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
o Administrative skills.
o Good communication skills.
o Counselling skills.
o Good time management skills.
o Knowledge on vehicle care and maintenance issues.
o Ability to complete vehicle logbooks.
o Good eyesight.
o Be of clean sober habits.
o Proficiency in English and local language/s spoken in the district.
o Must reside in Alfred Nzo District.

candidates to fill the following positions under a project aimed at Achieving and
Sustaining HIV/TB Epidemic Control in the Eastern Cape Province – Integrated Service
Delivery Response.

Location: Alfred Nzo District , Eastern Cape
Types of Contracts : fixed term contracts ( actual contract duration periods to be
confirmed at interviews )
