Position Overview
The role is intended for a Mechanical Engineering Intern seeking to complete P1 and P2 practical training. The intern will gain exposure to real-world applications in maintenance, plant engineering, and production process management within an industrial environment.
Minimum Requirements
Eligible candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A completed Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be previously disadvantaged
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African Identity Document
- Must reside in one of the following areas: Diepsloot, Laudium, Atteridgeville, Lotus Gardens, or Saulsville
- The following documents are required:
- Certified copy of the South African Identity Document
- Updated CV
- Certified copy of Grade 12 Certificate
- University academic record or qualification
- Proof of residence
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in practical training aligned with P1 and P2 requirements
- Support mechanical maintenance and plant operations
- Gain experience in engineering processes and production systems
