Nashua Cape Town is hiring a Human Resources Manager who will act as the first point of contact for all HR related inquiries from employees and external partners.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Maintenance of personnel records
• HR document management (eg employment records)
• Our ideal candidate should have experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Ultimately, you need to be able to ensure that our human resources department supports our employees as they comply with employment laws.
FOR:
• Organize and maintain personnel records
• Update internal databases (eg sick or maternity leave record)
• Prepare human resources documents, such as employment contracts and disciplinary documents.
• Review company policies
• Liaise with external partners, such as the Department of Labor, and ensure legal compliance
• Respond to employee inquiries on issues related to human resources
• Assist the payroll department by providing relevant employee information
• Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
FOR:
• Human Resources Diploma or proven work experience as Human Resources Manager
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
• Knowledge of labor laws
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize important projects
• Strong communication skills by phone, email and in person
• A high level of confidentiality.
