Purpose of the position:
# Keep shelves stocked and restock to fulfill orders
# Secure storage for easy counting of id ad cycles
# Timely compliance with collection and/or packing lists
# Performs cycle counting and stock counting in accordance with established procedures
# Cleans production area by securing and moving finished pallets; move empty pallets
# Keeps the forklift in operation by following the operating instructions; troubleshooting; maintenance supplies; running
Preventive Maintenance; asking for reparations
# Maintains a safe work environment by monitoring foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with the laws
regulations
# Plan supply and material requirements by studying the production schedule; Scheduling deliveries to the production area
Position outputs:
# Check the accuracy of the pick and pack list and perform a visual inspection of the goods
# Ensure that the delivery of materials is carried out in an accurate and timely manner
# Identify discrepancies between physical stock and pick list (eg quantity, location)
# Ensure accurate records and reports
# Loading and unloading of material and delivery of material to the workshop
# Identify defective materials and report them
# Inspect containers and products to ensure packaging specifications are met
# Mark and label containers and products to facilitate their identification
# Deliver material to production and ensure proper presentation on the line
# Follow all safety rules
# Use of MHE (forklifts, cranes, etc.) to pick/pack material and line deliveries
# Sign the team daily on the release form

Qualifications and experience:

Minimum requirements:
# Standard 10/Grade 12
# Literature and arithmetic
# 6 Months of experience in warehouse operations
# Appropriate MHE license
Skills:
# Ability to read, write, count and communicate in English
# Physically fit
# Good vision
# Demonstrate compliance with all safety regulations
# Good eye/hand coordination
# Honesty and integrity
# Precision and Arithmetic
# Good cleaning skills
