WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS MANAGER – EE – KEMPTON PARK

Introduction

This role will be responsible for the supervision and control of various interchangeable Departments for the Client’s account in the Distribution Center.

Duties and responsibilities
Control risks associated with picking
Monitor and correct improper or inappropriate picking, to meet sales demands, e.g. stock shortage. Assignment, management and prioritization of picking waves in line with business requirements
Work balancing between waves and work zones to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency is achieved Monitoring and tracking rush orders, quick replenishment and other priority orders
Control the security of collection areas that could result in loss, theft or misappropriation, etc. Guarantee all monitoring and issuance of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Monitor, act on, investigate and complete CAPA documents if necessary, this includes but is not limited to null selections, error rates, KPI requirements, etc.
Ensure selection processes are followed in operations. Create and maintain various reports in line with KPIs.
Compliance with cleaning and HSE compliance and responsibilities Conducting daily/weekly/monthly departmental inspections
Review and update processes and workflows as needed in area of ​​responsibility. Supervise and follow up on HR and IR incidents and requirements.
Team player, build and maintain the Morel team
Desired experience and qualification
Grade 12
Intermediate knowledge of WMS CargoWrite or similar system
Minimum 5 years experience in Warehouse environment
4-5 years of output processing experience
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience within the logistics industry
Intermediate level of computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
