A position for a Stock/Inventory Controller in the Plant Hire Industry has opened up.

Job Description:

• The Stock Controller must ensure the storeroom runs efficiently; this requires a huge amount of organisation as numerous Brands and stock ranges will be housed in the stock room and therefore your organisational skills will be utilised.
• Responsible for stock management within his/her Store Room
• Ensure operational management and execution of the stock management process and associated controls is delivered in an effective and efficient manner.
• Ensure both inbound and outbound stock movement is managed and controlled in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
• Accurate processing of outbound stock movement, inventory and assets.
• Outstanding / Pending Order Report: Provides visibility of pending/outstanding orders
• Stock takes and, no ambiguity around stock remains and that all stock is counted, returned.
• Ensure inventory levels are appropriately scoped, effectively managed and duly controlled to ensure min inventory levels are maintained in line with acceptable standards.
• Ensure that Credit Claims are returned and completed timeously.
• Supervise in the management of stores clerks
• Root Cause analysis done on errors/ stock take variances

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Matric
• At Least 2 years’ experience as a stock controller
• Computer Literate
• Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables/ General)
  Preferred:
• Qualification in Stock Management or similar
• Worked in the Construction/ Motor Spares industry
